5.6.2.2 Configuring the Fax / Modem / CID Settings
¾ To configure the Fax / Modem / CID Settings parameters, take
these 4 steps:
1. Open the ‘Fax / Modem / CID Settings’ screen (Advanced Configuration menu >
Media Settings > Fax / Modem / CID Settings option); the ‘Fax / Modem / CID
Settings’ screen is displayed.

2. Configure the Fax / Modem / CID Settings according to Table 5-43.
3. Click the Submit button to save your changes.
4. To save the changes so they are available after a power fail, refer to Section 5.10.2 on
page 205.

Fax Transport Mode that the gateway uses.
You can select:
Disable
[0] (transparent mode).

Note: If parameter IsFaxUsed = 1, then FaxTransportMode is always set to
1 (T.38 relay).
